is the Universal Product Inspector (UPI).
Prey wanted to design a system that was incredibly easy to use while
remaining accurate, flexible and repeatable across every industry
when human inspection is presently being implemented.
The UPI can be used in many different areas of industry where final
repeatable product quality is required. This system is truly universal
and can be used for inspecting almost anything. The system can
inspect both sides of an assembly in sub 4 seconds.

Using our dual camera, single shot capture system, our Prey Universal Product Inspector can simultaneously capture both the top and bottom sides of any object offering instantaneous inspection of nearly any product or object within the camera field of view. The camera system can be customised to allow for smaller or larger products depending on the customers requirements.
Prey Inspector Software
Due to our bespoke, in-house developed software, we are able to offer the flexibility of customising the camera and lens system to meet customer requirements, whether the products are large or smal. The whole system is designed to allow for a truly universal inspection solution.
Universal Carrier Mounting and Design
We designed our standard tray for the Universal Product Inspector around the idea of allowing customers the ability to create their own carriers to allow for mounting any products that they wish to inspect. Making this a truly universal product inspector with the option for us to also create custom carriers dependant on customer requirements.
